Global Partners proudly shows our unwavering support for those who've served our country.
On Veterans Day, we offer a free car wash to veterans and service personnel at participating locations to honor their dedication and sacrifice. It's our way of saying thank you.
At Global Partners, we understand veterans' challenges when transitioning to civilian work and are here to help. We're proud to have veterans as a vital part of our team, and we continue to welcome them with open arms.
On Veterans Day in 2023, our sites throughout New England, Virginia, and Texas donated nearly 500 free car washes to our veterans.
Car Wash for Schools
Our Car Wash For Schools Donation Program was established in 2020 and this twice-a-year charitable initiative has raised nearly $60,000 to date for area schools!
"We do this charitable initiative twice a year - in the spring and in the fall - and each time we add on a few more sites and schools to help grow this important program," said Micah Smith, Director of Car Wash Operations. "It was our first time doing this in Virginia and we're looking forward to expanding further into that market. Our goal is to have 30 of our sites participating before the end of this year. We enjoy finding out how the schools will use our donation and this spring we were able to support field trips, student enrichment activities, after school programming, student music festivals, math manipulatives and early literacy curriculum, arts integration programs, and even the prom. We know our efforts are truly making a difference for these children and I'm proud of our car wash teams and all their hard work to make sure these initiatives are so successful."
During these fundraisers, for every car washed $5 is donated and for every new sign-up to our Unlimited Wash Program $10 is donated.
